Trade paperback cover for “The Last Legend: Glitch Apocalypse”

In the last post, I said I was going to do a cover reveal for the full trade paperback cover of my newest novel, The Last Legend: Glitch Apocalypse, on the 28th. It is now the 30th and that cover reveal (and special announcement) still haven’t come until today.

I apologize for that. I just got so busy over the last couple of days that it totally slipped my mind to do the cover reveal. So I thought I’d get it done today, as well as make that special announcement I mentioned in the last post as well.

Without further ado, here is the trade paperback cover, including front, spine, and back, for The Last Legend: Glitch Apocalypse:

Pretty cool, huh? It, too, was designed by the brilliant Travis Mile of ProBookCovers.com. I haven’t seen it in print just yet, but with the proof of the trade paperback edition on its way, I will soon get to see what it looks like in person.

With that out of the way, what is this “special announcement” I mentioned in the last post?

It’s quite simple: Starting sometime in February, I will be serializing, on this blog, the entire text of The Last Legend: Glitch Apocalypse chapter-by-chapter, two chapters a week every week for about ten weeks. At the end of each chapter, I will include links to all of the online stores where you can buy the whole book.

I know how crazy this idea sounds; after all, I won’t make a penny off any of this, as I will be posting each chapter for free on my blog.

But here’s the catch: After I post the whole book here, I will then go back and take down the entire novel from the blog. I will probably leave it all up for one week after I post the final chapter, so that means you will only have a very limited time to read the whole book for free before it’s gone.

Additionally, The Last Legend: Glitch Apocalypse will be at a special reduced price on all ebook platforms during the posting in order to encourage people to buy the whole novel while its available. I will announce that reduced price at a later time.

In short, starting early next month, I will post two chapters a week of The Last Legend: Glitch Apocalypse every week over a 10 week period, during which the novel itself will be available for purchase at a reduced price on all ebook platforms.

I see this as no different from the way some indie authors price some of their books perma-free on Kindle, Nook, and other platforms; in fact, it’s quite different because it won’t be available for free permanently.

And if this goes well, I may serialize another book later this year. We’ll see.

I highly suggest following my blog if you want to be the first to know when this serial will begin. I think it will be a fun experiment for me and hopefully offer my readers some good entertainment.

So stay tuned. I will be announcing the start of the serial and the special reduced price very shortly, likely in the first week of February.

Also, I’d like to remind everyone that the Kobo edition of The Last Legend: Glitch Apocalypse comes with the short story The Floating City, which you literally cannot buy anywhere else. If you want to read it, you’ll have to buy the Kobo edition.
