As I promised in the last post, I am going to discuss some of my plans for 2016. Not all of them, as some of them I want to prefer to keep private (such as my personal word count goal for next year) and some of them I want to announce at a later date, but I will preview a few of my ideas so that y’all can have an idea of what I am going to do in 2016.
First off, I am pleased to announce two brand new fantasy series, Tournament of the Gods and The War-Torn Kingdom.
Tournament of the Gods is an epic fantasy/swords and sorcery series that is set in the same world as my popular Mages of Martir series. It will focus on three mortals as they attempt to win the Tournament of the Gods for the ultimate prize of ascending to godhood, but there are outside forces that want to sabotage their success in addition to their own interpersonal conflicts that might drive them apart.
Book #1 in Tournament of the Gods, titled Gathering of the Chosen, is scheduled for release in ebook and trade paperback in January 2016.
The War-Torn Kingdom is a new swords and sorcery series that is completely unrelated to any of my past series. It is set in a kingdom divided into three major warring factions which a young man of mysterious parentage must unite against a powerful outside enemy, although he will have to overcome the challenges posed by the differences among the warring factions and opposition from a childhood friend of his.
Book #1 in The War-Torn Kingdom, titled Kingdom of Disunity, is scheduled for release in May 2016.

Second, my Mages of Martir series is coming to audio! That’s right, I am going to get all four Mages of Matir novels released in audio book via Audible. I don’t have an exact release date for the audiobook editions yet, but I am aiming for a spring or summer 2016 release. I’ve been meaning to get them released into audio for a while and I think that 2016 will be the year I do it.
Third, I will release both Mages of Martir and Two Worlds box sets containing all of the books in each series. You can expect the Mages of Martir box set to come out in January or February 2016, with the Two Worlds box set will likely come out in July or August 2016. Again, if you’d like to know when they are release, just sign up for my mailing list.
And finally, I will be starting a new open pen name in a superhero series that I think will be fantastic. I am still going to remain tight-lipped about this, however, because I don’t expect the first book in the superhero series to be ready until fall 2016, but I will definitely announce it once it is available.
I have many other plans for 2016, but these are the four points I wanted to share on the blog. I am going to make 2016 my best year ever and this is a partial picture of how I intend to do it.
